Say No to Elan Lawn: Angry Online Buyers Frustrated!
I am a big fan of Elan lawn and always write on its every collection which hits the market — from winter collection to summer collection — from lawn collection to bridal collection by Elan. But I have noticed that the brand — under Khadijah Shah — is facing criticism by some online users.
Some disappointed fans of Elan lawn have shown their ‘disappointed’ reaction on the social network websites like Facebook and Twitter. One of the Elan fan wrote on the Elan official Facebook fanpage that she was shocked beyond measure at the lack of quality assurance they had shown on the fanpage of the brand.
The user even used hashtag #SayNoToElan. “Upon first receiving my order, one of the dresses had an embroidery patch missing while the other had holes and black spots right in the middle of the shirt’s front piece”, she wrote.

“Élan is a simple sounding word that means liveliness, flash and panache. And when one does business with a brand of such name, and the stature as it enjoys in Pakistan, one expects nothing less than perfection in quality, courtesy and service. Unfortunately for me, Élan has failed me on all three fronts.
I preordered two lawn dresses from Élan with all the exuberance I could muster. The prints were beautiful and unique and I couldn’t wait to have them. Little did I know, that while I cared so much, Élan cared so little. Upon first receiving my order, one of the dresses had an embroidery patch missing while the other had holes and black spots right in the middle of the shirt’s front piece.
I was shocked beyond measure at the lack of quality assurance they had shown. It was disappointing, to say the least. Nevertheless, I sent both dresses back and asked for them to be replaced with complete and untarnished pieces. When I received my order for the second time, I wasn’t just shocked and disappointed. I was appalled, and what they had sent me felt more like an insult to my intelligence than anything else.
The first dress, D6A, that had had an embroidered piece missing was sent back to me with an ADDITIONAL embroidery piece missing! As for the second dress, D13B, the botched piece of front of shirt cloth was replaced by the front piece of the other color for the same design. The neckline embroidery piece had also been replaced with that of some other design! And as if that wasn’t enough, they sent it back with a piece of embroidery missing the second time round.
The first time, only the front of the shirt had a problem. Now the whole suit was missing pieces!
It was like they had thrown pieces of cloth together just to send to someone. Not to make a satisfied customer! I have been a loyal customer to Élan for a few years now but I can vow, without an iota of doubt, that I will never be persuaded to do business with them again. NO ONE should let themselves be taken for a ride by high-end brands, purely in the name of trendiness and style. Its simply not worth it.
