Chanel Spring Summer Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week Collection
Chanel spring/summer collection 2015 is ready to rock the fashion world. Paris is back to being the fashion capital of the world and the couture is fierce after a week of Charlie Hebdo attack.
Haute couture is an expression of French national pride, and of Parisian self-belief. Karl Lagerfeld flirted with bad taste this season with bare midriffs and low-slung hip belts.
This time the garden was allowed to run wild where past Chanel shows have referenced the formal elegance of Versailles.

Chanel is the mightiest house showing haute couture in Paris this week. The 73-piece Chanel spring/summer collection boasted bare midriffs, tweed suits, crystal flowers and tulle gardening hats.
The 24-year-old ‘Bella Swan’ actress Kristen Stewart also appeared at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week on Tuesday morning.
She was looking stunning and glamorous a sleeveless Chanel minidress with black embellished piping for her arrival at the Chanel Spring/Summer 2015 runway show in the French capital.
The Twilight star was watched young model Kendall Jenner take to the runway. She was joined in the front row of the show by actors Vanessa Paradis and Gaspard Ulliel.
The 19-year-old model Kendall Jenner wore a see-through top (sans bra) on the catwalk at the garden-themed show.
There were three hundred engines powered a set of paper flowers that bloomed and coloured as the show unfolded under the catwalk. The color scheme was a mix of dusty, sugary pastels with pops of electric blue, yellow and orange.
“The new cleavage is the stomach,” Lagerfeld told Reuters of his spring-summer 2015 designs. “Especially after this dark, horrid beginning of the year, there was something like this needed, I think,” Chanel’s creative director told Reuters, referring to the murderous Jan. 7 attack.
