CMA Music Festival 2017: Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban Steal the Night
Finally, the much-awaited CMA Music Festival 2017 kicks off officially on Thursday, June 8 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Fans are really excited to see the high-profile celebrities at the event who are joining the party. With his hosting skills, Nashville star Charles Esten did the best job while providing the great opening to fans who are in mood of party.

It was perhaps the best moment of CMA Music Festival 2017 when Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban performed disco-flavored hit and restrained version of “The Fighter.” Fans were cheering, whisteling and enjoying during the performance.

Carrie Underwood, The History-Maker
Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban are among the big names who rocked the night. The history-maker Carrie Underwood was the winner of two awards including female video of the year for “Church Bells” and collaborative video for “The Fighter.” She has won 17 CMT Awards, the most wins by a celebrity.
‘Blessed’ Carrie said, “Thank you God for so many incredible blessings that we have in our lives … we are so grateful and we are so blessed.” She also thanked her fans in a video message posted on her Instagram, “Woo hoo!!! #CMTAwards Thank you all so much for voting!!! You’re the best!”
Keith Urban, The Biggest Winner
Though he was empty-handed at Academys and Grammys, Urban was walked away with the top honour at this latest event. His “Blue Ain’t Your Color” was announced as the winner of video of the year. He was also honoured with social superstar of the year, male video and collaborative video. ‘Excited’ country star thanked his fans for choosing him as winner.
He also thanked his actress-wife Nicole Kidman – who was sitting next to him in the audience at the Music City Center. “I love making music, I love making videos … who knows how long you get to do it,” said Urban. “I’m just trying to make a connection.”
Pepsi also presented him the CMT Social Superstar of the Year. Many many congratulations to Urban for four big wins and stealing the night.
Gregg Allman Tribute
Gregg Allman was paid tribute at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The southern rocker died last month. He was 69-year old. Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley, Darius Rucker and Jason Aldean performed “Midnight Rider”.
“This is for the one and only, Mr. Gregg Allman,” Jason Aldean remarked. A longtime collaborator with the Allman Brothers, Derek Trucks also joined the trio on guitar.
